I'm just not getting it. I think it's because my DVD/RW isn't on the list of supported drives.
Maybe too, because my motherboard, an ASUS A7N266-VM/AA (nForce) has an onboard LAN chip unlisted as one of those 'cards' in the supported LAN cards list.
I have several computers with the above mb networked together. I sure wish I could create a backup plan. These are computers without floppies although I do have one USB FDD. I have an external 5.25" enclosure with a USB 2.0 interface. Unfortunately, my DVDRW is a Liteon and my new one is a MicroAdvantage by TOPG.
My toughest obstacle though is getting those DOS LAN drivers and creating a boot floppy.
