Does anyone know if Western Digital Raptor's warranties are transferrable?

I'm looking to pick one up in the FS/T forum but I want to make sure I can utilize the warranty if it ever comes down to it. Does anyone know for certain if the warranties are transferrable from party to party?

AFAIK, they are. I've never had to prove how I bought the drive when I've RMAed it. The manufacture date tends to be good enough.
