Does anyone know if webcams have connectors to stretch the length of the usb plug?

Like I wanna have a webcam go out into my living room where I can see what everyone is doing there. Is this possible?

You cna purchase a USB extension cable, however, there is a electrical limit on how long a USB cable should be. I think it is only good for around 16 feet, but I am not extacely sure the exact number.

Use a USB hub, or multiple hubs (powered hubs of course).

Most comptuer stores should cary hubs and USB cables. Just see what they have and if any are long enough for you. While there are limits to USB length, I don't think anyone would sell a single cable that is beyond that length.

They may not sell a single cable, but it's not hard to connect extension cables to each other. However you lose signal that way. If you need to go a long way, a powered hub is probably the best bet, though I'm sure there are limits to that.
