I was leaning toward the 710T since its DVI for $420 through newegg.com I was on CompUSA and you can get a 712N for $280 and newegg has the 710N for $295 (which are both not DVI). I'm starting to wonder if its worth spending $150 for DVI and I would be better off with the 712N.

I have the 710N and a buddy of mine has the 712N. There is no difference, i believe they're just code named differntly for different chains. big retail gets the 712N while the online etailers get the 710N. I must say it is a great monitor, you cant loose.

DVI gives much better picture quality. Not quite the diff of VHS to DVD but close. True LCD was designed for DVI and I would not suggest even considering getting an LCD w/out it. CRTs are sooooo much cheaper and have such better picture quality w/out it. It is no comparison.
