Does anyone know if ATTBI requires DOCSIS 1.0 or 1.1 and above?

Oh also, we thought it wasn't comparable at first, you have to have ATT "Provision" the modem for it to work also once you get it

Oh ok, if it's just putting in a MAC address, that's not a problem at all. I'll just tell them I'm sick and tired of paying $10 to rent their stupid modem for the last 2 years...I'm sure they'll understand ;)

Charter is the same... most any modem will work, but you have to call them up and give them one of the numbers on the back of the modem(i dont know if thats the mac number or what), but they put that into their system, which enables that modem to work on their network.
