Does anyone know how to make home-made rockets?

Post any way, or methods that you know of....
Like right now, a friend and I made this so called "alka-seltzer" rocket...
it consists of a film canister, with water and akla seltzer inside. On the outside is a piece of straw taped to it. We fill up the canister with water and insert the alka seltzer, and close it. oh and for the base , we put a 1 foot dow rod on a board, sticking straight up...Now you know what the piece of straw on the canister is for..

this is pretty cool for some simple house hold items, but we want something bigger..badder, and better..

This alka seltzer rocket idea was given to us by a chemistry teacher at my college..


Anyone else want to give us ideas?

ps: i really dont need info about poking my eyes out or rethinking anything..

Keep a balloon in your pants, with the nozzle up your ass.

Collect the emanations that you excrete during the day.

Do this for about a month, and then rig up a way to get all of it into an air compression can.

Place the compression can in a cylinder, make a nozzle and fins.

Open the can while igniting it, making sure it's a controlled stream.

Empty a tea filter bag, straighten it out in a cylindrical shape and ignite. Flies like a rocket for two meters in air.
