Does anyone know how to make customer templates in MS Word so that I can print things on index cards?

I have "terms" I have to find in my History book and I use index cards to read them and memorize them. I want to know if anyone knows of any templates where I can just take any 4"x6" index card and type some things into MS Word and then have it print onto the index card in the middle, the term name, and then on the back of the index card, the definition.

Any ideas?

I know Oxford makes printable index cards but those are quite the penny whereas the regular recycled type is much less.

I'd like to know of an easy way as well. One way I can think of is changing the print settings to let the computer know the paper is a 3x5 card. Another way is printing onto regular paper and cut it up into 4
