Does anyone know how to get a higher score on 3dmark without buying additional hardware?

I recently got a Evga 6800 ULTRA and i got a score of 8500 on the 2003 3dmark... i love my new card and it plays games just fine but ive been reading around and im supposed to be getting a score of +12000 some even got 13000... i dont want to overclock my card (they didnt need to oc it to get those results.)

Well, isn't 3dmark03 CPU limited? Or not?

who cares about 3dmark scores, as long as it playes your games fine, then whats the problem?

i have the newest drivers... i have 512mb of ram ddr everything is on my sig.
