does anyone know how to embed image links in RTF?

I want to put links to images in an RTF document, so that when it is opened/printed, the image shows up, but the image is not actually embedded into the document. It is only a link to where the image resides elsewhere. I am having a heck of a time trying to find the code to do this. Can anyone help?

Isn't there anyone out there who has any experience programming rtf files? I'm still trying to find out about the embedding a link thing - I found this INCLUDEPICTURE tag that works in MS Word, but I think it may be a Word only issue....info about this online seems to be virtually nonexistant. Also, would anyone know if theres a way in rtf files to tell a document to print in duplex mode as well? Help!
