I wanted to know how to hook my home stero system up to my PC. I know it can be done because I have seen it done at my friends house. I tried searching and cant figure out how to do it.

Really not enough info but, find the aux in jack on the stero get a jumper and plug it into the line out of your sound card on your computer.

you will need a stereo miniplug to RCA adapter. you can find that adapter anywhere... well in electronics stores like radio shack and home entertainment stores like the wiz.

if you want to listen to the stereo on your computer, it's audio out from your stereo to line in on your soundcard.

if you want to hear your computer via the stereo, it's the line out from your soundcard to the audio in on your stereo.

This is more expensive if you dont have one but mixer works great and solves the problem of hooking the computer to your sound system.
