Does anyone know how to copy music off my ipod?

I'm trying to copy all my ipod songs onto my comp, reorganize em and all that, format my ipod and then ptui the songs back on.

Does anyone by any chance know how I'd go about doing that?

Also, is there anyway that if I have doubles of a song on my ipod it can automatically delete tehm? sometimes I'll have a few songs by an artist, then I'll get the rest of the cd and then when I put the whole folder onto my ipod it makes doubles of some songs (please note, yes, I do own almost all of these cd's)
