Does anyone know how to clear the search history in Google?

When at the Google search page, I just noticed that I can see a record of my past searches, is there a way to get rid of this? I'm not talking about the google toolbar, this is on their page. I looked in the preferences and there is no option to clear the history.

No no, nothing like that just don't want anyone snooping around on my 'puter here. For the life of me I can't get rid of those search results lol. I tried clearing cookies, etc.

Just double click on the search box, use the arrow keys to scroll through the options and hit the delete key.

Should clear 'em right out.
