Does anyone know how much an internship at a company like Xilinx or Altera would pay?

i don't know, but isn't xilinx in some kind of financial trouble? I heard they have a hiring freeze right now

What type of internship? For all we know, you could be applying for a coffee boy internship...

When I did my internships, typically pay was between $20-$25 / hour. I didn't work in a chip lab, but I imagine it's about the same

Sweet....just curious. I'm pretty sure it pays because most (if not all) E.E internships do.

Most Internships pay Zero.

Serious.Sad but true.

I don't think that's the case, at least not anymore. Most pay.

agreed..at least for engineering internships.

most EE internships at large companies typically pay around 20-25/hr. i believe that's the avg nowadays. give or take some dollars depending on how big the company is.

Oh, also don't forget about benefits. Cisco put me up in a luxury apartment for 3 months during my internship - thing is, my house was only 10 minutes away!
