Considering how many are registered, and variations, and based on the english dictionary, i would say approx 250,000 worded+word combination sites, and upwards of 500,000 spell error sites. For example www.google.com has its own name + www.gogle.com + gooogle.com + g00g13.com + others. . .

According to this there were 27,260,078 registered .com, .net and .org domains as of July 31st last year.

If you take into account all the different country domains, education, military etc. then there are a hell of a lot more than this figure.
