Does anyone know how financially successful Ubid, Inc is?

My roommate and I were talking about it today. I was just wondering because sometimes you can get some absurdly good deals on stuff. Is that just a reflection of dealer markup, the fact that some stuff sells much lower than at an authorized dealer? Or is it just that Ubid loses lots of money per some sales? I know that people overpay on stuff alot. So, any insights would be appreciated.
