Does anyone know how Amazon's used book store works?

Specifically, how to pay the person whom you bought a book from? Do you pay them directly or do you pay Amazon and they get the proceeds?

You pay through amazon as if you were ordering any other item, Amazon then take out their fee and gives the remainder to the seller.
