Does anyone know anything about this new sound card?

$141.90 is the retail price for that card.

It's up against the X-fi Music edition which costs 130 bucks, retail price.

I agree to this. It does offer RCA-out and an optical output connection, as well as many advanced soundcard features that even integrated soundcards to this day attempt to oversear... but Creative will always stand at the top of the mount when it comes to PC soundcards. The X-fi has a stronger sound processing engine, anyway.
