So I go to load up the dishwasher this morning hit the cycle buttons I want and they just flash on me and the lighs dont stay on... ok... so I hit the "Start" button and I can hear the motor start up it runs for a bit and the lights all go on/off in a pattern, then the motor stops and nothing... no water entered either.

Power cyle it (hardwired switch underneith the unit)... same thing.
I pour some water into the machine and hit the start button againa and it pumps the water and spins the "blades" just fine... but goes through the same pattern of running for about 15 secs then stopping... same light pattern every time. No new water entering machne either.

Im stuck I have no idea what is going on here.... if anyone knows anything about it please help me along here is diagnosing... this is a newer kitchen aid unit... ~2yrs old.

Thanks.

Maybe, the water supply line has been shut-off, or is plugged. Also, there is the possibility that the drain line leaving the dishwasher is plugged.

Try feeling around at the bottom center, or wherever the pump intakes are located. There could be something stuck there, such as a sponge, dish rag, plastic spoon, etc.
