does anyone know any of your usual passwords/pin's?

so, I'm watching Roswell on Netflix today, and there's a scene where one of the main characters dies and another is trying to crack into his computer to find clues about his death. it just so happens that a mutual friend knows his password.

which got me thinking, does anyone know any of your usual passwords or pins?

I've got 4 passwords (and slight variations on each) and 2 pin's that I principally use... no one knows them and I don't suspect anyone would be able to figure them out (short of trying every combination of 4 numbers possible in the case of my pin). they're mostly a combination of numeric equations and obscure bits of information (like half of the name of a character I played in a D&D game when I was in junior high or something like that)

Why would anyone know my passwords? That would be foolish.

Actually, some wise and beautiful woman knows my main "throwaway" password thanks to the Gawker hack. Fuck.

My wife sort of knows some of them, but mostly for joint accounts of things. My own individual accounts I rarely use the same password (except for throwaway things), and she doesn't know any of those.

But they're almost all saved in Firefox on the desktop PC, so she doesn't really need to know them.

I don't even know my passwords/pins.

On the weird side I think someone is trying to hack my CL account. I got an email the other day stating that I had requested a PW change. Not ...

No one knows mine, but if someone dug through Firefox, they could get most of my passwords. I use 3 different passwords for everything, with a couple variations to account for some site's peculiarities. low strength/non-dictionary for stuff like forums. Medium strength for stuff like email, and high medium for stuff like banking. I don't get carried away with password strength, so my high end isn't that spectacular, but it should stop everyone but government agencies from getting in.

Only I know them ... i've got 100 some in my fuckin head ... mine, others, admin passwords, user passwords, etc.

I wish I could just use the password password, and a RSA token, or authenticator like my battle.net account one.

If they know it, I don't know that they know it because I've never given any out.

One guy at work claimed he knew my password at one point, said he'd watched my hands while I typed it. I've since changed that password, so moot point if he did.
