Does anyone know about Promise Raid and kt133a?

Any ideas why the ASus and Microstar boards with the promise controller don't offer 0 + 1 and yet the Iwill with the AMI chip and the Abit with the Highpoint do? I like the cost of the MSI board but if 0+1 is not an option I will be going with the more expensive Iwill.
