If you mean for working out, then do a search on polar heart monitor. There are tons of sites selling them, and I know they have models that can download to a PC. Polar is the company site.

A hart? As in a deer?

Or a heart as in the red squishy thing in your chest that pumps blood?

:D

Ya gotta love a website like the Polar one. "We need a web presence! We must have a web page. We will spend thousands on it. We don't have any information on how to actually purchase our products........"

Freakin idiots...........Oh wait, there is is buried on the just ask page..........

Bob Newhart. hahahahhaha.

There was a boy whose name was Art.
He thought he was very smart.
One day he ate ten cans of beans,
And busted his jeans,
With a loud and earth-shattering fart.

hahahahahah.

Yea sorry that's what I meant, I don't want just the heart beat rate I already have one of those I just want to have a ECG type of program that monitors my heart for long periods of time while I'm on the computers. I would like to know if there are fluctuation or abnomal heart beats over a period of time.

I did try to do a search but there are only tons of Heart monitor watches for and not one that connects to your putter and has software. It can't be that difficult todo.

You can go to most larger bicycle shops and get Polar monitors that store information (that can actually be viewed on their very large LCDs) and can be downloaded to the PC.

Polar's had them for ages.

There stuff lasts forever too. Can't think of ever RMAing a Polar device when I had a bike shop. :p

try your local medical supply house for a "holter" monitor & to get some brands /makers to contact, etc... or

So I guess this is what you are looking for ?

here is one

This crap is expensive... if you look around you can probably find something used..

Talk to a local dr... most have some free magazines that advertize 'for sale' used medical eqpt.

Some brands need a translator module to adapt to PC for download of data.

also you will need software for the analysis. If you buy a new unit it includes the SW.

This stuff is proprietary in general & uses nonstandard formats, etc.

I have the Polar "Coach" model. Very nice. Comes with PC Coach Light, which you'll want to upgrade to PC Coach 2000. If you are an endurance athlete, you will find that Polar products are the most reliable, best supported and usually last the longest. I get free battery replacements, by way of example.

They can be had for $170-$250 on the web. Ebray usually has one or two.

If you aren't a serious athlete, then get one of the less expensive models.
