Does anyone know a good deal on speakers?

I have been looking for a week or so and still have yet to find a good deal on a set of speakers. Shipping is pricy and I havn't seen anything in the retail stores. Just wondering if someone knew any good deals?

YMMV, but garage sales are always good places to start looking for stuff. People want to get rid of stuff because it is old, but a lot of times older top of the line stuff can match just about any new set of speakers. Might be worth a try. I picked up a 240W Marantz receiver, and a couple of American Accoustic bookshelf speakers for a fraction of what they're worth.
