Whole back quarter-panel is smashed in by a 5'2 lady driving a Dodge Ram Hemi. I was *PARKED* reading a newspaper by a local cafe near my University, and she tried to pull in next to me. BAM. WTF? She instantly admitted to fault, and the Police Officer agreed and said it was her fault. Cool thing is, I found out the Police Officer is my Neighborhood two houses behind me, so I'm not going to have to pay for a copy of the report, or go pick it up Downtown. She's just going to bring it by and put it in my mailbox.

The lady who hit me admitted that she didn't like to drive that "big ole truck" but that her husband and she had *each* bought the other an identical model. She said she was scared to drive it and that it was too hard to see out of and park. Gee, thanks for realizing that AFTER you nailed my car. I called the Body Shop already and have an appointment, and already talked to my insurance. The thing that really burns my ass is that She didn't have proof of insurance. Her card was expired(same thing that happened to me last time and I ended up getting raped because of it), but she was having her company fax proof of insurance to the precinct within the next hour so she wouldn't get cited. Last time I was in an accident, State Farm said it was the other driver's fault, but his policy lapsed and he didn't stick to his "payment plan" therefore I am being charged 80 bucks a month for an *accident surcharge* EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T MY FAULT. That guy is being sued by the insurance company, but right now I'm still out my deductible and surcharge. FVCKING BULLSH!T. Learn how to drive, assholes.

Yes, I do. That doesn't mean they don't raise my rates when I use that portion of the policy(which is why I have that surcharge now). It is almost as bad as it being your fault!

I came to my car last night and the front license plate had been ripped off, holder and all. The kind assclown (or a good samaritan) put the whole thing on my windshield.

You know I've always wanted to implement stricter driving standards/testing in this country so mofos like that lady wouldn't hit you. It would be a great idea if the DMV started using testing standards from Japan or Great Britain. If that was the case, there would be less assholes driving like idiots....TRUST ME. I'm not saying that Japan/GB are kick ass drivers in the world, they have their worse too, but just ask anyone from those countries about their driver's test. They will tell you it's VERY hard and the government doesn't make any acceptions. In fact, in GB, the test is so hard AND expensive, some people DRIVE without licenses. These are the kind of testing stardards we should have in this country. Of course the insurance companies will beg to differ.

Agreed.

I also think all testing done in this country should be done in manual transmission. If you can drive a stick, you can drive an automatic. Difference is that stick drivers are more aware of the speed and control of their cars. Of course people can prove me wrong on this as there are drivers that still suck even at stick. However, I'm sure all of you will agree with me that people that test in stick will not take driving for granted since it IS hard to learn and to master in the first place.

I was at the local BB and some jackass pulled into the spot in front of us, shearing someone's bumper off. They were going ot pull through when we went away (to avoid everything), so I got out, wrote down the licence number, and put it on the car w/ the sheared off bumper. Ther person quickly backed away and drove away. I hoppe they got what they deserved.

I had two people today try to drive into me on roundabouts.

I was going straight, and the woman this morning decided to turn right (to my left) and pulled out onto the roundabout while I was on it without putting her indicators on.

On the way back from work I was going to the right, and a guy in a lorry decided to pull out onto the roundabout to go straight across when I was already on it

My horn got blasted twice today for a good 5 seconds each time...I hardly ever use it!
