I am thinking of getting a second job as my main job is only 3 days a week, Sat-Mon, 12 hours days. So I have Tue-Frid free every week. It would be a good chance to make some extra cash instead of doing nothing.

Yes. 2 Part time jobs totalling ~50hours a week.

Work from 5-10ams 5 days a week, go to school from 11-5pm 4 days a week, and then ~4 days of week working nights/weekends at my other job.

Currently no, but my senior year of college I worked two jobs totalling 30-40 hours a week on top of an 18 credit course load.

Its not really fun. But extra money is good.

Ouch, why do you do that to yourself?

I tried full-time and part-time on nights/weekends, but didn't get the job. Partly cause I suck and I'm guessing that it doesn't work so well with scheduling either.

Yes, full time day job and flexible school computer guy job. I work when I have time and when there are problems. I am behind right now. I'm also in 2 grad classes so my free time is limited.

2 professional coding jobs. One full time, one part time. Tons of money, no time to spend it.

Back in my ambitious days, I had a full-time finance job, went to school at night for my MBA and worked my nights off at REI(for the discount)

During my last 1.5 years of college I worked an internship Mon-Fri then delivered pizza Fri-Sun. Classes were at night Mon- Thurs. The worst day was Friday when I would do 8-5 at my first job, then 6-2 at my second job. I had to carry a thermos of coffee everywhere I went.

I'm currently doing work on the side in my normal profession... but I'm looking forward to this project being over so I have more free time.

I've thought many times that it'd be fun to get a part-time job at Wawa (local convenience store). My parents owned a convenience store while I was growing up, I worked there for years, and I always enjoyed it. Lots of different characters, both employees and customers. The money would be more or less meaningless to me, but it'd be fun. Not right now though... I like my free time.

You actually have a better chance of getting promoted doing material handling and services than you do at a cube.

I did during the holidays last year. I had been unemployed for 3 months following a lay-off. Well I got 2 job offers at once. One was full time salaried and the other was part time sales. I took both the full time and the part time working at the Dell kiosk in the mall Did it for about 3 months before the hours slowed down at the mall & I left.
