Does anyone here use Reddit?

meh. If I want random internet funny/interesting stuff to look at to burn time, Imgur is 100x better than reddit.

Imgur is Reddit for those of us with ADHD

I like the idea of Reddit, don't really care for the format, but sometimes it's the only place you can find info & discussion on certain niche topics where you want to find the most current information.

The stuff voted to the top of Imgur is usually of much higher quality than the stuff voted to the top of r/all

except Imgur was literally created as a gift FOR reddit because at the time there was a lack of a good image host that would allow gifs and images of decent size for free.

The service, which the creator describes as "an image hosting service that doesn't suck", was created as a response to the usability problems encountered in similar services. Originally designed as a gift to the online community of Reddit, it took off almost instantly, jumping from a thousand hits per day to a million total page views in the first five months. The website became widely recognized following its rise to popularity on social news websites such as Reddit and Dig.

I went there once, it was terrible. I think the cesspool rankings go something like this:

1. 4chan
2. neogaf
3. reddit
4. anandtech
5. facebook

Reddit is loaded with butthurt opinionated blow hards.

Oh, and women haters. LOTS of women haters on that site. I had no idea the vagina was despised by so many men.

Well have you ever touched one? It's a disgusting slimy mess most of the time. For the virgins that don't know, it's like having frontal swamp-ass. :\

Dude I... just... I... no really, I have not met many that I did not have a strong affection for. Those that fell into the "disgusting mess" category have been very few in number. Perhaps you should try a different bar?

Ugh, fuck NO. I hate the typical know-it-all neckbeard chode smoker who frequents the site. I do find the AMAs usually interesting though, if I see a link to one on ATOT or something.

Reddit is about 70% male. I think it's basically a tame 4chan.

It's not even close to the cesspool 4chan is. I've had no issues finding useful information or debating how shitty my football team or your hockey team is on the likes of r/android, r/ChiBears, r/nfl or r/hockey. Yeah, there's the occasional troll running around but that's true of literally every public forum on the internet.

I like reddit; mostly... A lot of posters are jerkoffs, but I like getting links to a wide range of articles. Dunno where you'd spam a program. What does it do?
