Does anyone here rollerblade currently?

i was browsing through sportsauthority and they flashed a deal of the day: a pair of men's inline skates.

it just hit me that i don't recall having seen anyone roller blade for a very long time and i'm kind of surprised because it sounds like a somewhat fun exercising activity...

so anyone here blade or is it just phasing out now like roller skates?

I haven't rollerbladed for a long while, but it's damn good exercise. Too bad it fell out of favor in the 'insecure wannabe cool but have a small penis' crowd...its a lot of fun imo, even for straight people.

I wouldn't mind rollerblading again. It would probably be some good exercise. But since I haven't seen anybody in rollerblades in at least 5 years I would also feel gay.

get some decent safety gear if you decide especially wrist and head - broke both the bones and fucked up my wrist in my arm while "learning" years ago.

I still rollerblade. I got my wife into it. I've been looked at weird a few times, but I don't care. It's a lot of fun. Way better than biking, IMO.

It sort of depends where you live. Wish I was near a large lake with a perimeter path to blade around.
