I could use your help in fixing my treadmill.
I have a WESLO CADENCE 10.0 XT power incline treadmill with cross country rails (AKA Proform Crosswalk.) got it at the
local thrift store hoping to repair it or frankenstein something out of it. i found that the control panel harness had 4 severed wires
which i fixed and made the LEDs look much better but the thing has yet to spin up for me.
YES the safety key is in and working
properly ,
console seems to reset properly when the key is inserted
a relay underneath clicks when the console is reset.
diagnostic LEDS on the power control board underneath seem to be proprly lit
the membrane controls on the console have no effect at all but the display LED arrays look right with 00's etc
the motor has continuity
the choke has continuity
the power supply is good
the switch and breaker are good.
is there anyone willing to help me fix it or perhaps create a more primitive controle of the drive motor.... like say a variable resistor to control the speed and some momentary switches to operate the power-incline.
cannot I emulate the membrane button controls by shorting some pins to ground somwhere around the membrane connector
or at the other end of the harness underneath?
any ideas would be appreciated.
