I was pondering a subscription. I have never read it bit I would imagine that there are some interesting articles in there.

(It's not just 13 year-old 31337 hax0r crap, right?)

Uhhh... Yeah it is. Any associations to 2600, "Free Kevin", or the like will only serve to get you laughed at in serious computing circles.

hm... i always assumed it was serious articles about, you know, the internet, security, and stuff like that, and of course hacking, but I am not really interested in kiddie crap, I want to read about serious subjects, you know.

remember, I haven't ever read it, so don't assume I am some idiot that wants to hack into my school and change my grades, etc. etc....

I just find hacking and internet security issues interesting.

I read it. It makes for good reading on the commute to school. Most of the articles are dull and boring, and the kind of rhetoric they spread is kind of righteous and narrow-minded.

I've never heard anyone get laughed at for reading 2600...sure it can and does attract script kiddies but its also an interesting read with good articles in it...for the price its worth it too, very reasonable

hmm...the opinions have flopped now. Well, I'm still thinking about it. I'm not gonna go sign up today either way, I was just considering a subscription sometime.
