I have never understood the fascination with flight simulators. Hey, lets take off and cruise at a high altitude for 3 hours, then touch down in VEGAS (but not actually go to a casino). OMGS WIND SHEER! WE'RE DONE FOR!

Likewise I never understood the fascination with single player RPGs. People have their own preferences. For those of us who enjoy flying but cant afford real flight time. Flight simulators are very enjoyable.

Seriously, though, you're still on the ground looking at a display.
I love flying (never piloted an aircraft, though), but FS is just no substitute.
Unless maybe it's one of those full-blown cockpit simulators with hydraulics and 360 degree displays.
