Does anyone here not have a kitchen table?

We don't use it and it takes up too much room in the kitchen. I'm thinking and island bar with a few stools would be better, what do you think?

I only have a bar table with stools in my kitchen. Works well. I've got a separate dining room for when I need it.

I don't have a kitchen table, I have two kitchen tables.

Seriously though, I could do without them, as most of my meals are eaten at the computer.

our house has no formal dining room, so our kitchen table is our only table, although the kitchen does have a 2 seat bar

I have a nice kitchen table. I want to get rid of it and replace it with a crappier table so I can work on it.

What do I think? I don't give a fuck. It's your place. Do what ever the hell you want.

I don't have one. 95% of the time I eat at my desk, and the other 5% I eat sitting on my couch. I would like a poker table that can be used as a regular dining table, though.

But if you got rid of your kitchen table, where would you throw your random stuff? Seems like my kitchen table is always covered with things that somebody put there instead of putting it away.

I've actually never eaten at my kitchen table for as long as I've lived in this apartment (2 years), but it's where I drop off the mail or bags of groceries after walking in the door.

No kitchen table in my house. Me and the wife usually eat on the couch and the kids at the bar.

Card table on the back porch next to "blue" your old tick hound and the sofa you found on the side of the road?

We have a dining room table that gets used twice a year on Thanksgiving and Christmas, and a kitchen table that is rarely used. Both are usually home to random crap that doesn't belong on the table the rest of the year.

lol nope. a nice wood table my dad got us when we got married. it seats 8. though we also have a extra wood table that has the ends fold in that seats 6.

when we have thanksgiving or family events we can fit both tables in teh dinning room.

Like i said we eat lunch and dinner together as a family. we don't do breakfast since everone gets up at diffrent times. Except on sundays. i make a big breakfast before everyone takes off.

edit: though thinking about it we do have a low counter with chairs in the kitchen. its a great snack place. the kids will eat breakfast there and have after school snacks etc.
