Everybody's talking about In Flames. They're alright, imo, I like At The Gates better, though...Originally posted by: Vortex
I've been into black/death/power metal & friends since about 1998, when I found a website with desktop themes based on these bands. Some artists include: In Flames, Iced Earth, Burzum, Vader, My Dying Bride, Blind Guardian, Emperor, Borknagar, Cannibal Corpse, Dark Funeral, Satyricon, Marduk, Einherjer, Celtic Frost, Cathedral, Tiamat, Therion etc. List goes on forever 🙂
BTW, Einherjer owns viking metal.

Skyclad1uhm1 - I've heard some Grip Inc before, not bad, may get an album. I recently heard The Haunted and am definitely going to get One Kill Wonder. Useless fact: Marco Aro used to sing for Face Down (see my list), he's an excellent vocalist.

You lean a little more to the thrashier side than I do, I do like Pantera though.
Some of my other favorite bands are Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Dio, Black Sabbath, Queensryche, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, & Hammerfall.
Although the Dynamo festival again won't happen thanks to stricter EU rules :disgust:
From what I understand, as an American, of Dynamo, it's pretty much just a noisy mess.Originally posted by: Skyclad1uhm1

Wacken is happening this year isnt it?
I'm going to the Download Festival to see Iron Maiden this year at Donnington in the UK. Went to Donnington last year for the Ozzfest, and got soaked, left after System of a Down cus it was just a mud bath, and didnt want to get my new car stuck in the mud. (went home and watched the Eurovision song contest instead!!)

Europe is a paradise for metal lovers 😉
Ahh, yes, that it is. All good, though, it's still a monster 😉 Just don't forget us a Anandtech when you find $15,000 and 4 years to put into it.Originally posted by: 440sixpack
Hmm, fraid I don't have too many pics, it's still in, erm, unrestored state. 😉 Here's a couple of older ones anyway.
