Does anyone here know of a way to get in contact with Microsoft about my account?

I have tried answers.microsoft.com and they are useless

I have an old hotmail account from back in the day that is associated with my XBl and a few other things. It changed into an @outlook account and I never use it(use gmail). I recently needed to log in to it and I can not remember the password. I have tried doing all the reset options with no luck.

nsa.gov. They should be able to help you get into your account. Submit a FOIA request for your password.

I have did that and everytime I try to submit my info it says unavailable since last week

The send the code to number option has the last two digits of a phone number I know but the code never comes through or a call. The security question is my first pet's name and that is nothing I would ever pick or know

If the reset options don't work, you have better luck becoming the next CEO of Microsoft than to get in contact with customer service and get your account back.

If the above sounds like hyperbole or a joke, it's not. You really do have a better chance of becoming CEO. 😀 🙁

I recently gave a ridiculously wealthy woman (9 figures wealthy) a hand with getting yahoo email running on her iPhone. It's a actually a royal PITA. She apparently tried for a few days and was irate that there was nobody for her to call at Yahoo to help her with her free email account. I was about to ask her if she asked for a refund until I remembered IRL != ATOT so I bit my tongue.

This story is in no way meant to poke fun at you SAWYER. I do hope you regain access. I know how much losing access to email accounts can suck.

Ugh.

Sorry to hear that.

Yahoo mail is the worst garbage in the world. I actually maintained one for a while (was originally a rocketmail account IIRC, which was pretty nice really back in the day). Gave it up after awhile, just too annoying to deal with yahoo.

Google is awesome because it works really really well with iphones, androids (duh), windows phones, outlook, wherever you want it, it works well.

And zero email is truly secure, so don't give me any of that 'but security' crap. The NSA can do anything they want, and even if you have a 9000% secure email service, how can you control the person you sending it to having a crappy unsecure POS? Solution : don't say or do anything online that you wouldn't do in front of a cop or other government nanny.
