I love TORCS it's a decent game for Linux I play it a lot on my downtime, trying to everytime beat my previous track record.

Anyways, I drive % 99 of the times the F1 car, the only thing that pisses me off is that bright red color, I hate red and it makes the games look very cheesy, where in TORCS config files can I change the F1 car's color to light grey something like #4D4D4D ?
 
Never mind guys , after a little of looking around I found the file that defines the color of the texture for the car it's an rgb file called sc-f1.rgb location at /usr/share/games/torcs/cars/sc-f1
All I did to it was take a grayscale of it and overwritten it. Now the cheesy red color is gone 😀
