Does anyone here have a Marketing job?

I'm trying to start a marketing career (BSBA in Marketing, from Ohio State) -- can anyone provide some guidance? I'm trying to avoid the usual telemarketing "schemes" and land something long-term. What sort of money can one expect for an "entry-level" position? Thanks!

You might want to talk to someone at OSU in the department you graduated from. See if anyone you took classes from could give you a few pointers.

I work in marketing but i started in the call center of this job and moved up. Now I'm a Marketing Analyst. Sorry can't be much help. I'd go with the suggestion of contacting your Alumni association and find out what they can do for you.

I am not in the Mkt Dept but I interact with them daily. You need to be able to communication well in public. Marketing = Sale, sale, and sale. Call the large companies around you and ask for internship or something to get your feet wet.
