Does anyone here drink alcohol while they do work/homework?

I wonder how normal this is. I'm tempted to have a few beers while studying for a macroeconomics midterm I have on Tuesday. Will it affect my productivity much? =P

As I found out for most of my high school career, it will probably help you stay awake. Though, you probably still won't get it anyway.

Hmm...that is a good question...but I came home this weekend to get some studying done cuz I haven't done anything for the class yet.

back before I dropped out of college. I was always drunk. Of course I never did much homework, but I swear Everclear Mixed with RC cola made my progamming skills awesome. I did all my C and FORTRAN work drunk, and I did quite well in those classes.

i find that drugs in general only make you THINK you're being more productive. now creativity is another story, but productivity? stay sober man!

My friends used to tease me and say that if you drank while studying from exam then the only way for it to be effective is if you were drunk when taking the test. Sufficed to say I have never tried the latter part. Once I was drunk studying for an accounting test and passed with 100% the next day. To each his own I guess. LOL

Oh...to answer the question....yeah I'm a systems engineer so when I'm doing PC work for friends at the house I'll definitely have some drinks and it works out well.
