The general rule of thumb here is that if you still call you mum and dad "mummy and daddy" when you are in your twenties, you're probably of the upper class snob society.

wtf is "mumsie?" Sounds like a B-rated movie.

All the rich people I know use "Mom" like normal people.

Nope. Daughters of the aristocracy are required to call their mothers and fathers "mama" and "papa" with an emphasis on the last syllable as a sign of good breeding. Sons, however, refer to their mothers and fathers as mother and father.
