Yeah... I ordered my 7900GT from newegg yesterday at 11:50PM, I got Fedex standard overnight cause i really want that beast over the weekend. Anyway on my newegg status it says its on step 5 ( been shipped). But i dont have a tracking number and i dont have the card yet? Fedex usually comes to my house around 2-3pm (mostly earlier) and i dont have the card. Even wierder is that newegg hasnt sent me a tracking number from fedex either.
Just wonderin its so wierd.

If you ordered it last night at almost midnight it most def didnt ship until today. Unless they do Sat delivery you wont get the card until Mon.
 
Fedex doesnt ship on saturday's UNLESS you pay extra. so you will be getting it on monday.

(They get paided time and a half for saturday deliverys)

Which means you should try to get a refund on uyour shipping....I do believe overnight would cover saturday shipping though...
 
Overnight shipping doesn't mean you get it next day, it means you get it next day after it ships.

When I ordered my XTX, it was free shipping through Fed-Ex. When I looked at estimated delivery date it fell on a Saturday and sure nuff with no extra charge it was delivered on a Sat..
 
Mine has shipped - UPS 3-day - but the ETA and tracking # hasn't gone up yet. I'm guessing Tuesday, which suits me fine cuz I won't be home to play with it until then anyway.

I order from monarch all the time...When a dumb-arse company puts up something like that means they dont have it in stcok...YET!!!!....Monarch usually ships within 24 hours on everything I order so there is no excuse for a 2lb package...

You needed to order your card probably before 3pm pst to get your card today. The latest that Fed Ex and UPS pick-up stuff is 6pm.

Did you really think that they would pack a video card for you at 11:50pm and have Fed Ex overnight it to you for today? Very naive...
 
theyve done it before.....
Ive rushed a X1800XL from them i ordered it at 11pm and they got it to me the next day....
I think it might have been that too many orders were placed and the place was just wayy too busy
 
i think rule number one of buying online is dont buy anything on a fri, sat or sun.

chances are it wont even get processed untill monday, with (at least here in the UK) the possibility of it not arriving at your door until wednesday!!

i remember odering from overclockers.co.uk on a friday afternoon, i had to pay next day shipping since thats all they offer as standard (they do have sat delivery for like 2x the price....rip off) i never got what i orderd untill wednesday 🙁

if id of ordered it on monday it would of come at exactly the same time

Newegg seems to be slow sending out those e-mails. Whenever I get mine it seems that the package has already been shiped for a day.
 
The thing is that i checked on the order status and it said it had been shipped on the 9th overnight. Like I said before ive ordered something before from newegg on a thursday and got it on friday. But anyway, i checked the satus and it said it had been shipped the 9th and the next day the 10th i checked my email and got a tracking number which said that they had only shipped it on the 10th.
