No but I've always thought about that. Wondered if I recorded someone throwing a cigarette out the window if I could take the video to the cops and get the person fined. If I could I'd install one tomorrow.

They just put a camera somewhere in the back of your car. The keyhole where you open the trunk is a popular place, or in the license bracket (some of these are sold pre-made) and they pipe it in to your radio.

My brother has one and I think its a stupid purchase price/usefulness wise. I don't really get the point of having one unless you are really bad at parking or have kids in a driveway.

EDIT: I've heard of people that have started to place them in their side mirror to have a glimpse of their blind spot, which I guess is useful, but think about it, do you really want to see that kind of stuff, rather than seeing the GUI of your radio?
