Does anyone have The Sims working flawless under Windows 2000?

I get cursor trails and other graphic artificats...I'm wondering if it's my video card/directX or if it's windows 2000 itself. I'm running SP1, going to try SP2...

I got cursor trails in Win98 (but then again...it was on a P2 266...hehe)

I get cursor problems in Simcity 3000...maybe there's a common fix...i hope so...lol

I used to have it running under Win2000 (Voodoo4 graphics), and it was fine with the exception that it occasionally crashes out. Graphics themselves were fine though.
