Does anyone have the Grado SR60

I was in the market for a headphones but didnt really know what to get.. but this months issue of gear magazine had section for headphone tests and the grado sr60 had the highest rating (5/5) out of the 4 other headphones they tested which included the JVC Digital ready HA-DX3, Etymotic Research ER-4p, Sennheiser Wireless RS80, and the Stax SRS-2020.

Being that the Grado's are generously priced at 70$ I am actually going to consider making a purchase on these. Does anyone know where to get one online? or at a store?

try out some sennheisers. I've seen the 570 for $70-90.
Sennheiser tends to be more comfortable.
I wont get into the sound issue, but i personally perfer sennheisers (most people say theyre better too )

I've had a pair of SR60's for about a year, and they rock! Best pair of headphones I've ever owned, hands down... although if you want something almost as good but about half the price, check out the Koss PortaPro's. I think they retail for around $35...

I have two pairs of SR60s. I prefer them over Sennheisers because of sound and because they're more efficient and have low impedance = easier to drive. That's important with all the piddly headphone amps on portables out there now, esp Sony, since all electronics manufacturers like to boast how they're battery life is great - at the expense of sound quality and driving power.

Anyhow, buy the SR60s from http://www.qaudio.com for $59 shipped. You can buy demo's from them for $10 less shipped. Best place to get them online. You need to call in though to place the order.

Got mine from Audio Advisor, and for the money I don't think you could beat the quality. They have excellent sound across a pretty wide frequency range, and they're pretty comfortable.
