Does anyone have the contact info for a junkyard in Los Angeles?

Any phone number, website, etc. information appreciated, thank you.

EDIT (for clarification): Looking for a junkyard where I can junk a truck, thanks!

This is where I go for car parts. They have two massive yards about a block away from each other in Wilmington--the 'grit' there makes Mar Vista's worst look like Bel Air, BTW. Parts are cheap (I've purchased fenders for less than $20, a hood for <$40, OEM radio and trip computer for under $20, door/window gaskets for a couple of bucks... the deals go on) and half-price sales are advertised on Channel 22 I believe... it seems there's such a sale every two or three weekends. Admission's two bucks and vouchers for free entry can be had by the bunches if you 'investigate.' 😉

You do need to bring your own tools and do your own spelunking among an enormous maze of vehicles, but that's just the way I like it. Oh, and if your car's newer than a '96 model, you may have some difficulty finding parts. Otherwise, the place is salvage heaven. Good luck!

P.S.: I have no affiliation whatsoever with this place. 😛

Thanks to all for the info/links... 🙂 The person getting rid of the truck doesn't want to bother with the hassle of going to DMV for a new title, etc... he just wants to get rid of it, even if that means losing $500-800 and just junking it. The truck's been accumulating tickets just sitting around, and it's been more of a hassle than anything.

I'm sure someone else will go through the pain of getting a title and selling it if they can split the $500 to $800 profit

I'm pretty upset about the loss too, but time is of the essence. Owner has finals, exams, etc. and the last thing he wants to worry about is that truck right now. I'll try and get some pics before it's junked though, maybe an ATOT-er wouldn't mind going through the trouble of getting the title, etc. and selling it. It runs fine, just needs to pass an emissions test.
