lol @ rc51. Even after two years of on and off riding, i STILL don't have the balls or the riding experience to even attempt to consider that bike. No way!!!!!

However, i'm looking at the suzy gsxr 750 or tl1000

I have two (a red/black and a silver/black), they are great bikes (IMHO). I looked at most of the 600's and decided that I was most comfortable on the Honda. If you have somewhere near you where you can 'fit' on each of them you might find you love or hate some more than others based on your personal build.

Also the first one was my first bike, they are powerfull, but (I think) good for a beginner as well as experienced rider.

Good luck!

I think that was addressed to me, if so, yes (we are about the same size) I find it the most comfortable of the 600's I tried (only looking at sport bikes). And it is fun ;)

I would never buy a CBR, because they're the bandwagon crotch rocket... They're generally considered to be the best all around, but never stand out in any one particular category as far as performance goes...

The RC51 is sweet, but underpowered and a heavy beast of a machine - I don't know why the hell it's so heavy.

If your a new rider a CBR600F4i might be a little too much of a bike. I would suggest not going for it. If you are interested in riding please take teh MSF safety course www.msf-usa.org or its equivalent canadian Motorcycle safety school for information for your state. It will atleast teach you street survival skills.

If your a new rider you will need a motorcycle endorsement. Also check how much insurnace your going to pay for that bike as a new rider, I will guess something in the thousands.

There is another motorcycle thread in here a few pages down.. suggest you look it up.

I should have already mentioned that, I can't agree with you more. The course should be manditory for everyone (in some areas it is if your under 18). Go, it will be the best investment in your safety you can make.

Ouch, probably age dependant. I'm paying about $400 a year for both bikes (was about $250 for one originally when I first started).
