Does anyone have info on Alienware.com's custom laptops?

Are these machines good or bad? Does anyone know. I am looking into purchasing a new notebook. I herd of this site a looked into it, I just wanted an expert opinion.

They're good but if you want to save a little check out sager notebooks. I think those are what alienware uses. But paints them and stuff. Sager

It heats up like a mutha, and has a pretty short battery life...also is on the heavy side. It's not really a notebook replacement but more of a desktop replacement. Performance wise it owns.
