Does anyone have any opinions on Pulsar watches?

There have been some watch threads lately and I've gotten some good recommendations. I've looked at some Fossil, Citizen, ESQ and other watches people have mentioned.
I'm pretty cheap, though, and I found a store selling this watch (another pic) on sale for only 49 bucks.
It's nothing spectacular, but it seems nice enough and it has a blue face, which I like.
However, I don't know much about Pulsar. I know they are owned by Seiko, but I don't know about the quality of their watches.

Does anybody here have an opinion on Pulsar watches? I know they're not as popular as some of the other brands, but I was hoping someone could just give me an idea of whether they are of decent quality or not.

Edit: Also, what do you think of the watch I linked?

Yea, my Pulsar still works, 8 years later. Except that the sun dial is about 13 hours behind (or 11 hours ahead?)

I'm pissed, I just got back from hawaii for vacation and i left my G-Shock there! NOOOOOO! It was a triple crown of surfing limited addition...had it for about 1 year and it was schweet. Oh well, now i'm looking toward the purchase of a new watch, something like a fossil that is more professional and not so rugged. I spent like 150 om my G-shock and i'm thinking of spending a max of 75 on a fossil.

I have a Pulsar watch as my daily wearer and it has held up really well considering how much I bang it around. The face is still virtually scratchless. It was well worth the $30 from the fine folks at Ashford.:)

Alienwho, how do you leave a watch that big and that heavy behind?

Mine is from the '98-'99 Triple Crown Season. I got mine from working with the contest (Let's see it was the ASP Mt. Dew Gerry Lopez Memorial Vans (nice shoes) G-Shock Hawaiian Triple Crown of Surfing . . . ).

It's the only watch I regularly wear that I don't easily lose. (And it's still on Hawaiian time . . .)

Dude I thought i put it in my suitcase before I left. I took it off alot while at the beach to avoid getting a tan line and left it just on my dresser. I coulda sworn I put it in my suitcase before I left. IT KILLS ME :(

What does everybody think of This Watch. I want a watch that looks pretty similar to this, I want it to have date and a small digital time display like this one has. Anybody know of a watch that's like this but maybe a lil' bit cheaper?
