Does anyone have any experience with the cheap cases/psu from ebuyer.com?

Just curious.. I wondered what the quality was like on the cheap cases/power supplies that they are selling at www.ebuyer.com.

If you've purchased from them, please let me know what your experience was. I'm interested in if the case made it to your door safely. If the case looks pretty good for the money and which case you purchased.

I'd link Ebuyer.com directly, but they have a funky login because they have stores in Arizona and the UK.

The cases and power supplies that I'm looking at are in the $20/$30 range shipped.

I don't have any direct experience with them. However, I have used many cheap cases in the past and will not do so in the future.

You can use a cheap case if that's your only option, I would however recommend that you purchase it without a power supply and perhaps purchase a used Antec power supply from here or ebay and use that in the system. The power supplies they put in those systems are very weakly built and aren't very good at all.

So, my sole advice is get a cheap case if you can't afford anything better however try and find a good deal on an Antec/Enermax power supply. A 400-500w generic el`cheapo power supply isn't as good as a 300-350w Antec or equivalent.

I've been using Ebuyer in the UK for about a year or so now, always good service (from the 4-5 orders I've placed so far) and cheap prices

The thing with cheap cases is they have cheap, underpowered/overrated power supplies, and aren't particular brilliant for powering higher spec systems.

It always pays to have a good power supply, it is the main thing that makes your PC go!!
