Does anyone have any examples where globalization has minimized slavery and inhumane treatment?

I can't seem to find many examples where the globalization of consciousness and politics has outweighed the globalization of economics. Other than corporations that supported the apartheid being boycotted, does anyone have any other examples where inhumane conditions for a company have ended by the issue being raised, or boycotts?

only if you are talking about globalization (if you count trade agreements) between two already developed countries. Even then only maybe. Globalization almost always favors the citizens with a more developed economy, at the detriment of the citizens and environment of the less developed country. at least under capitalist models.

Don't you agree if the globalization of politics, culture, and consciousness was to receive more of an emphasis that it would change?
