Does anyone have a URL for a good guide to assembling a Thunderbird system?

What do you need to know?
Its not much different from assembling a intel system

Here are a few points to take into account:
1.Durons and Tbirds are for the most part multiplier locked, but can be unlocked by connecting the L1 bridges. Will search for the post that explains this more...thats if you plan to oc
2.If youre going to oc then you must get a board which allows multiplier adjustment ie. asus a7v, abit kt7 or a msi K7T Pro2
3.Try to get some quality ram and at least a 300W ps. These amd chips require alot of power.
4.Also if you plan to oc, most likely youll get a great overclocker, as most durons and tbords are great at it. Look at my sig. some people even get duron 600's up to 1000. you might get lucky

hope this helps

Try AMDs site. They have a pretty complete PDF and a 1 pageras well. While your at the AMD site, check out the AMD apporved lists of mobos, Power Supplies and Cooling Solutions. If you stick with the AMD approved stuff your half way there.
