Does anyone have a shaved-ice machine at home?

I'm wanting to get one, but all supermarkets that have 'em have the plastic cheapy ones.

and by the time i buy shaved ice and get home, its all liquidy...🙁
 
I have one of the Pampered Chef ones. It's plastic. The kids use it in the summer. My parents had one that was electric, though I think it worked better as an ice crusher than a shaver.
 
Look for the metal scraper ones at your local Oriental grocery store.
