I prefer my room decked out in the gleam of silver, chrome, and black metal. Feng Shui this, wackjobs!

We've put lots of time, attention to detail and funds into our home. After all, it's a place where you spend quite a bit of time in the evenings and on weekends.
My offering: My Home
Living room (pic is a bit dark)
Dining room (pic is a bit dark)
Staircase Moldings
We've been fortunate because my sister-in-law is a decorator. I'm the main source for the woodworking projects, painting and wallpapering. We've never paid anyone commercially to do any of the work within our home.
Enjoy!

Mrsskoorb is addicted to the million home decorating/makeover shows, so we have various inputs from them here and there. We are scantily furnished since it's a new home, but what furniture we do have we're buying nice stuff of. Our family/living troom is the first one we're doing and it's not too far from copmletion. No pics, but it has a large brown leather couch and a off-white plush cloth love seat. We have a nice dark brown coffee table with matching end table and sofa table, and the tv stand (until we get a bigger tv!) is also a dark wood. I personally abhor uncomfortable furniture and that is why most of our stuff - actually both of them - is overstuffed. Soemthing you can curl up in. We still have a single large chair to buy, which will match the love seat, and a couple of pictures here and there too.
Also we bought a $10-20 big tall silver light and she bought a $10 kit from home depot that changes something into a metallic copper look and it turned out pretty well - looks like a nice rustic copper light that cost money![]()
