Does anyone have a planar LCD display?

Ive heard nothing but good things about this monitor. If you have one how does it preform in games and DVD movies? It sounds like it would be a great college monitor.
 
I just got mine yesterday, the Planar 17.4". I'm very impressed so far. I've played Diablo2 and Freespace 2 and it's great with both games. I'm not into first person shooters so I don't know how it performs in that. DVD playback is fine also. My old monitor was the Sony 17" SF2. If you haven't already, check out this thread.
